Find out the Peugeot 5008 2021 price today!
Peugeot's large-size SUV, the 5008, is equipped with seating for up to seven occupants, making it the perfect car for large families. The interior offers cavernous space, including plenty of leg and head room for occupants, plus lovely touches when it comes to amenity and visibility. The 5008 SUV also makes use of Peugeot's multi-flex interior, which allows you to reconfigure the individual second-row and third-row seats for maximum space and comfort, and to meet your requirements.
The latest Peugeot 5008 SUV kicks off with the 1.6-litre 5008 GT 1.6 THP, which is the entry-level model that is priced from $51,990 before on-road costs such as stamp duty, dealer delivery and registration. From there, the alternative model in the range, which is also a higher-spec option, is the 5008 GT 2.0 Bluehdi, which has a 2.0-litre diesel engine and eight-speed auto. According to Peugeot, this model retails at a price of $59,990 plus on-road costs.
Unlike a number of other large-size SUVs that come at a more affordable price-point, the Peugeot 5008 has a pretty good track record in terms of retaining its value. When you think about it, an upmarket car suited for large families certainly does have a desirable place in the market, and with all the great features and premium inclusions, it isn't surprising the 5008 holds more of its value than some of the SUVs from Kia, Toyota, Mitsubishi and the like. At the same time, the Peugeot 5008 is also considerably cheaper than rivals like the Volvo XC90 or Audi Q7.
With a nip-and-tuck and more to like in terms of standard specification, the 2021 Peugeot 5008 has entered showrooms with something quite unusual – no increase in price, although at $51,990 plus on-road costs it remains a premium contender. Just the single high-level Peugeot 5008 GT model grade continues, with the choice of two engines – petrol and diesel, w...
View ReviewPreviously on carsguide.com.au: Peter Anderson drove the Peugeot 5008 and quite liked it. I don't think it's going to be a huge shock to learn that the recent update to the 5008 seven-seater has improved the car and, therefore, my opinion of the car. Except, it's more than an update. Prices are much higher than when I drove the Crossway edition 5008 in 201...
View ReviewPeugeot has recently updated both of its medium SUVs in Australia – the 3008 and 5008. Today, we're focussing on its larger, seven-seat 5008 in GT petrol guise. Interestingly, the 5008 represents just over 20 per cent of all medium-sized Peugeot SUVs sold in Australia. In other words, for every three to four people that pick a 3008, one decides to opt for th...
View ReviewPeugeot is once again having a real crack at the Australian market with updates to its entire SUV range, including its flagship 5008. Stretching 194mm further in length than the five-seat 3008, the Peugeot 5008 is pretty much the same mechanically but with two extra seats. Peugeot is hoping key updates to the 5008, including styling tweaks, new technology an...
View ReviewThe wheels are spinning furiously at Peugeot-Citroen Australia with the concurrent launches of all-new small 2008, face-lifted mid-size 3008 and this, the mid-life update for its categorically large seven-seat 5008 SUV. All follow in the design wheel tracks of the marque's reimagined 508 in what is said to be a decade-long development of range unification to...
